One of the most common mistakes when buying commercial toilet rolls is ordering the wrong core size. The core is the cardboard tube in the centre of the roll, and it has to match your dispenser. Here's a simple guide.
What is the core size?
The core size is the diameter of the central tube. For jumbo and mini jumbo rolls, the three common sizes are 60mm, 76mm and 90mm. Your dispenser is built for a specific core, so this is the first thing to check.

- 60mm core: Common on many mini jumbo and jumbo dispensers — a widely used standard.
- 76mm core: A very common commercial size, found on lots of jumbo dispensers.
- 90mm core: Used on some larger jumbo dispensers.
How to find your core size
Check inside your current roll or dispenser, or measure the diameter of the cardboard tube. If you're replacing rolls you already use, simply match the existing core. If you're fitting out a new washroom, pick your dispenser first, then buy rolls to match.
