Blue Rolls

Blue Rolls are Midland Tissue Company's heavy-duty general cleaning range — blue centrefeed and workshop rolls manufactured in Leicester and supplied by the pallet to UK garages, workshops, cleaning contractors, engineering firms and facilities teams. Blue is the colour code for non-food cleaning, and these rolls handle the jobs that destroy lesser paper.

Eco and Premium, 40m to 150m

Four pallet-ready SKUs across two grades and four lengths. Eco is the cost-effective choice for high-volume general wiping where you get through rolls fast. Premium delivers higher wet strength and better solvent and oil absorption for automotive, engineering and industrial work.

Why blue, and why it matters

The UK colour-coding convention puts blue in general cleaning, washrooms and non-food areas, keeping it visibly separate from the white rolls used for food-contact surfaces. For any business under EHO inspection or working to HACCP principles, that visual separation is the cheapest cross-contamination control you can implement — and inspectors notice when it's missing.

Who's buying blue

Garages and MOT centres go through premium blue for oil, grease and solvent work where a roll needs to hold together when saturated.
